Plants usually don’t like gravel, that’s why I suggested sand. They don’t have a problem getting through the fine particles of most sand. Gravel on the other hand, has very large chunks of rock.

Orca’s are scary. People they sharks are the scary ones, heck no. Orcas are like sharks mixed with dolphins. Crazy strong/fast and crazy smart.

Never done it, though it’s a good idea. Just keep in mind that the fish you keep in your tank usually come from halfway across the globe, so the water they are naturally found in won’t measure the same as your local body of water.

Sounds good, the macro algae should definitely help. Try to remove any dead/dying algae you can see.
