I disagree that bettas aren't community fish. It depends on the individual. Every single one of mine has been in a community and they do just fine. If he isn't bothering your other fish and doesn't seem bothered by its presence, then your all good. Just keep an eye on them.

You have a Corydoras aeneus and a striped raphael catfish. The latter of which will get quite big and neither of which are suited for a 10g. Corydoras like shoals of their own.

He has both a German blue ram and a Bolivian ram. Not a great mix imo, best to stick to one species rather than mix the two. The German blue looks like a male from those pics, though admittedly GBR aren't my area. We'd need a better pic of the Bolivian to be sure of its sex.

I never had any issues with black skirts when I had them. I found them to be perfectly peaceful. In a larger group of 15-20 there should be even less problems. A lot of the time the nipping can come from being in an insufficiently sized group. Even my serpae tetras never gave me any problems.

This is Mikrogeophagus ramirezi. Same as the German blue ram. This is a balloon variety of M. ramirezi. Any ram that you see that isn't a standard Bolivian will be one of the M. ramirezi variants.

I would agree with you that it is Garra cambodgiensis. Garra taeniata, as you referred to it as, is no longer a valid name.

Garra will eat algae yes. You should also feed foods such as vegetables, and they will need a bit of protein too. Do you have any pictures of the fish so we can check?

This isn't necessarily true. They will hatch, they just won't live long, and they will be so small that you won't notice them. They can live anywhere from a few days to a week in freshwater before they die off. Usually about a year.
