So one of the little deformed Carolina Reaper pods ripened. It was only a little bigger than a marble so I popped the whole thing in my mouth. Instant regret. I forgot how ridiculously hot these things were.

Watching the moon, Saturn and Jupiter with my daughter through her $15 clearance telescope. 90x no name brand refractor, so I guess for $15 it isn't bad. One of these days I'll pick her up a decent refractor and reflector so she can see the rings of Saturn and some deep space stuff.

It is 100% from scratch. From the cake batter to the cream cheese frosting. It's a layer cake and anyone who has ever done those knows they are a monumental pain the rear. All said and done, with cooling times, it took her 5 hours.

I've been trying to get pictures. They're still skittish and I've only managed to get silver blurs so far. :lol: The only somewhat clear shot I've gotten is of the pumpkinseed, which is the biggest, shyest and mellowest of the 5.

At the moment they are in a 40 breeder. They are +/- 1" long. They will eventually be going into a 150+. One is a pumpkinseed.

Been over two weeks now. Doing much better now. A huge weight has been lifted. Thanks everyone for the support!

Yup, I always use dark mode on my phone and keep my brightness lower. The new bluegill are catching on that flakes = food. Hopefully they'll transition to cichlid pellets as soon as they're big enough. They becoming curious as well and coming up to the glass a little bit.
