Do gill flukes look like bloodworms?

I will get a short video. I thought the pics would come out much better then they did. The fish is healthy, with his normal hunger and attitude! I've had him since he was a baby fish and never saw 'bloodworms' coming out of him before, lol!

Thanks for the quick replies, my fish really appreciate this forum!. I took some pictures today. It appears as if there is a whole block of thawed blood worms protruding for both gills. He is the only fish in a 150 gal tank that seems affected.

    Saddened By My Discus Troubles.

I'm also sorry to hear about your Disvus, they are beautiful fish. I too am no expert on Discus or any other fish for that mattter, but i too think this may be temp related. I do everything wrong according to the care sheets except the temp. My tank is a constant 86 degrees. I use treated tap...

    Blue Acarra Tissue

Thank you very much for this. I do not feed live food but otherwise if they make it these fish eat it. All varieties of frozen food are given as well as different forms of pellet foods that are softened prior to feeding as i've read this when researching. I've also heard about pushing it back...

This blue Acarra has a fleshy blob coming from his anus. He has had this for several months, he is a very good eater and is active in...
