The LFS I like reliably has an array of unusual cory species. She had some interesting big ones in, but OH and I could not decide whether or not to add more CW045s as and when she gets more, or get another large species for the 240L tank. We left it for now.

Would those have potentially died off with only a couple tiny fish in the tank?

I did that when I initially set up the tank, maybe just under a month ago. Would it be worth doing again? The other tanks have all been seeded from one another, so there's a lots of bits and bobs of media rammed into their filters.

If put them in a breeder box, the tank I would use would be neither one of those. What's the best way to make that change? In a perfect world, I would want to keep them in a grow-out tank until they are raphael-proof, or at least dwarf cichlid-proof. But I don't know how to keep the 10g stable...

I've been putting fry food in the current and hoping it gets to them.

I have so little algae in that tank that I moved my otos into one that had more. The big leafy plant I had was growing like crazy until we changed the tank into a pleco breeding tank and added the powerheads. Apparently lots of leafy plants don't like currents.
