To be fair mate, you have an opinion, but the members are commenting with scientifically proven facts. Your current stocking incompatible and needs addressing before purchasing any other fish. Noone is attempting to shame you, they're trying to educate you and help

Males and females both do this as they both have their own personalities. Hard to tell from pictures, for me personally, a male will have a beard that wraps around the bottom of its face to the gills where as a female doesn't. I'd check out Google images to get an understanding of what I mean :)

I do the same thing! Cut the top of a 2l bottle, leaving one side as a 'tab' that bends over at the top to hook on the side of the tank. Holes in the bottom too. Works a treat ?
