Oh wow so that’s what they do in idiots terms thanks for explaining it so well. Glad I’m giving time for my bb to build up I’m hoping to get away with a water change every two weeks if possible as I don’t want to upset the shrimp too much.

    Hi from Gloucestershire UK

I think we may be leaning towards Enders, it’s been so informative joining here before putting fish in. I’ll have to look at how the pseudomugil handle the water as we like those too 🥰

    I’ve been shopping :)

I have read about plants melting :( I hope they survive the transition. I only got one small pot of the limophila and kept it in the bunch, I want it to hide the filter so more plants for free is a bonus 🙌

35 gallon long, skittish community, breeding set-up?

Yes the pet store has them at around £20 each… minimum of 3 They said we could put with cloud minnows x 6 but someone suggested that it may be over stocked. Can’t afford to lose £60 worth of fish so getting my tank right is top priority. For my benefit and the fishes health of course

35 gallon long, skittish community, breeding set-up?

I’ve seen videos of those wave makers :) wish I had space for a big tank! I’ve not even 100% decided what little fish to put in there yet but they’ve gotta be hardy and colourful.

    Ask Questions About Cycling

I tested the water the day after and both ammonia and nitrite were around .50ppm nitrate 40ppm...

Hi! Thanks for the sympathy, we do miss our beautiful oranda. The lady at the store gave me some small catfish pellets to give them once or twice a week, Putting in some cucumber is apparently a good way to get the bladder snails out though too. I have far too many of those. Do they eat the...
