Emergency repair of filter today, wouldn’t turn back on after my water change, cleaned the impeller and hey presto 🙌 I have 6 new residents this week they are amazing 🤩

Bought a 12 litre mini tank today and it’s sat next to the bigger one.. it’ll be either a quarantine tank or a betta tank but may possibly home a bully Silvertip..

12 Silvertip Tetra added to my aquarium on Friday last week. At first they were all silver with yellow and black tail fins and a couple were orange and black. Today they have more colour and I can definitely tell the males and females apart. All getting along swimmingly 🤗

It was cycled upto 4ppm without fish, then 2 Amano went in, then two weeks later two more.. now I have 12 little fish to watch over 🤗

My ammonia and nitrites are 0 and have been for the past month my nitrates is now at 10ppm

Go on then… for the newbies, is a fully planted 8 week running fish tank not ready for fish? It’ll obviously continue to adjust now the little fish live here :)

Well I guess to end this thread I should update that the school of fish I ended up with after all that were 12 x Silvertip tetra. They’re a lovely looking fish and seem very friendly. Sometimes shy, Always on the hunt for food and have picked off all of the smallest snails so I know they’ll have...

Yes all fully cycled to 4ppm ammonia and running for 8 weeks on Tuesday. Guess it’s just a wait and see game then :)

Honestly, not a lot… I put some tropica root tabs in last month and it’s had about 4 pumps of tropica premium, the vallis is half taking half not.. hope it’ll continue to get better for me though.
