Lol theres rivals..? Well alright but alot of people have kept them in hard water. The ones that you showed arent set in stone there just one of the recommended ones. I've seen and know alot of people who keep them in hard water. Including experts.

Most kuhlI loaches out there are captive bred which means that they can adapt to any pH (unless extremely acidic or extremely alkaline) and GH (unless extremely hard). Your water should be okay for the kuhlI loaches Source - a rival fish forum Gouramis are okay with hard water...

I dont know where you get your info from but your wrong. Gourami can do really well in hard water. Khuli loaches can do well in both if it's not extremly soft or extremly hard. I'm switching the glowlights for cherry barbs anyway so that doesnt matter either.

I'm not keeping mollies. And all the fish I have can live in the ph and hardness that I have.

Like I just said gourami and platy can live perfectly fine with each other. Sure they dont need it doesnt affect them. They can all live perfectly fine with each other.

I'm not really sure what fish your talking about. Gourami can live with platys just fine. And the khuli loaches can live in harder water just as well

No but the fish arent in pain or unhappy. They're all doing fine.

The pet store I got them from uses the same water I do. So they are all used to the exact same waterparameters.

Yeah that's why I came here. I wasnt sure if it was over stocked as tetras have a very small bioload. I was gonna suggest chili rasboras if she really wanted to replace them but idk.

I've kept fish for a long time and a 10 gallon is fine for those fish. And I wouldnt go off of just one website but multiple. I just wanted a second opinion to my friends tank.

Cherry barbs. Dwarf gourami, platy, khuli loaches can all go in a 10 gallon.

I'll be rehoming the tetras. And only have the few platys andgourami. I'll probably be getting another 10g in a month or so and leave the cherry barbs for that tank. Thank you for your help everyone.

I can definitely understand that but my tetras are the size of a cherry barb. One reason I was switching to them. They all seem happy and get large water changes anyway. And regularly.
