What are the most recent results from water parameter test. I remember @Byron talking about prolonged exposure to even 0.25 of nitrites and ammonia does long term damage. What fish are dying, what are they with? Have you noticed any odd behaviour?

Nope, had to do it myself after rubbish information from pet shops. The BB is on surfaces, in your substrate, filter etc... never wash anything under tap water to clean it! Have you got an API test kit, I must say it is a necessity for beginners. In fact, I think I'll always have one on hand.

@essjay @AdoraBelle Dearheart Personally I'd be testing water parameters on a daily basis (API Master Kit) Any Ammonia, Nitrites over 0, you need to do at least a 50% (I did 75%) changes daily until your tank cycles.
