You can have three to five Neolamprologus Multifasciatus in a tank as small as 20" long (average length of a 10 gallon).

A 37 gallon has the same length and width as a 29, it is just taller and a lot heavier. If the stand will hold a 37, it will hold a 29 (if they are the standard dimensions for those tanks).

For fin rot I have just done daily water changes until it shows regrowth. Clean water is best for injuries.

It looks like one to me! I have several fish that eat snails, so I purposely cultivate them. A lot of people don't like them since they breed rapidly. If you don't want them forever, get rid of them now.

One thing I don't understand is, why don't fish stores keep extra sponge/filter media running on tanks. Then when someone is buying a new tank, they can say "We can sell you this *cycling sponge* to instant cycle your tank for $30." No muss, no fuss, instant cycle.

I wasn't sure, since there have been reports of them cross breeding, but very rarely. They are larger than most adult mollies I have seen. About 3 inches.
