My caffeine thoughts this morning, as I lounge, and get woke up… started with my seeing a pretty small Zebra Oto, that’s in my mixed Cichlid tank… wondering why they don’t eat it… the largest of the Electric Blue Acarras, could easily make a meal of it… I’m actually surprised that all 4 Zebras...

I honestly think the key here, is the size of the piece, if for example, you calculated the volume of the pieces of melon, ( or squash for that matter ), and placed that volume of fish food in the tank, I’m betting you would see similar results… we just don’t typically put that much fish food...

Apples and oranges… but I bought 2 Flying Foxes, on a whim, when I 1st restarted my tanks 2 years ago, the big one was mean to the smaller one, and about the time I was going to separate them, I bought my 1st Hillstream loach… now they get along with 30 other loaches… so you never really know...
