I’m my younger days, I played with such… I always got best vegative growth with plus or minus an hour either way of 18 hours of light, they always grew better with around 4 hours of darkness…. A couple extra hours of darkness will put most plants into the flowering or fruiting stages of growth...

Maybe the hybrid fish will look like green terrors, but have the passive nature of the electric blues, so they may make a nice community fish???

The yellow, hasn’t colored up, anymore, from its FOB condition… it looks like a chunkier Cupid, with an extra dot/ stripe, mid body, and less color around the back dot, maybe a little pale yellow in the fins and tail, so far not tempting me to make a place for it

Interestingly in the 2nd picture on the left side, half way up, you can see the 2 female Apistos... they don't hang together, but are cordial... the male is in front of the hollow log, below them... so far the seller, selling them in groups of 3, has not be catastrophic...

The juvenal Spot Tails ( FOB ) above ( Crossocheilus reticulatus ) all made it through the night... so they worked as a "canary" now to get biological filter elements moved over, so I can get the Tin Foils moved over... picture of adult Spot Tails, below... they get to around 6 inches according...

The largest electric blue, while being less than 6 inches long, is more than an inch thick, across the shoulders, ( as seen in the 1st picture in this thread )... so way bulkier than they look... but they are "hippies", avoiding any confrontations if at all possible... certainly not a typical...

Still there... several days later... the Tin Foils will likely move in a day or two... likely I'll move the guppy too... but I will spare it for now, as the most practical place would be to drop it in the Bichir tank, but this one will go back into the guppy tank... for providing the curiosity...
