Starting to color up a little after a half hour

Got to be careful with the Panda Garas… too curious and personable… I think I accidentally munched one working on the pagodas after moving the Tin Foils out… I dug one out today, haven’t lost anything in this tank for well over 6 months

I was looking at some Jordanella floridae ( American Flag Fish ) & was reading somewhere, that they were KILLIFISHES... and another place, that said they were often grouped with Killi's, but are actually pupfish... my www. search was a not that informative as too the difference between Killi's...

Tonight I moved the Tiger Silver Dollar ( Metynnis fasciatus ) into the Cichlid tank( a more friendly environment than it’s previous tank, note the bite on the lower part of it’s tail ) it’s also way easier to take pictures in this tank… I think it’s a little faded as it’s being submissive...

I think it also looks pretty cool… but may be better with rift lake cichlids, than Sout American

@emeraldking... I'm considering moving my Tiger to my Cichlid tank... it's hard to photograph in the tank it's in currently... the "color" comes from maturity... they all start out silver with the black stripes... there is another member here, that has several mature "tigers"

I think the antlers are interesting... aside from the poking during occasional scuffles ( they could be turned down ) but I expect they will slowly dissolve in the tank, making the water harder, than what you may be wanting, with Oscars in the tank... not sure what your water conditions are, but...

Pleco’s work well, as long as you start with big enough critters… I had Oscar’s 25 years ago, and had a couple Royal pleco’s in with the Oscars… they are not particularly good glass cleaner, and have a tendency to eat wood, but get big enough, and look interesting… you could probably also get by...
