All Seachem tidal have the surface skimmer right.

Was tempted to have this with self priming but then I have tons of floating plants ..you name it ..duckweed I foresee will be a problem right though the big ones should be fine like frogbit... The surface skimmer will suck out all my tiny floating plants ...

The HOB will be for my 280G , I already have Fluval F6 cannister in it and a few Sponge Filter. The HOB will be secondary and not the main filter.

I guess for me it's Oscars ...they grew big in a supper fast without me realising there are Kings... But they are the reason that I started to have me own pond outside the house ....da There is always good comes out from the bad decisions.

Maybe getting a bigger tank or separate tank is the solution ?

Gonna start this thread since I am in the market for a new HOB. Want to hear fro everyone experience in terms of peace and quiet HOB . No annoying sound ...rattling or impaler crunching sound ... I just want to hear the water splashing sound from HOB back to the fish tank and doing its job...
