Tribute to my Tiger Barb Zebra .... lost one today as it cant battle out ulcer and fungi issue.

Salwater tank is indeed a bank breaker I would say .... from the setting up right down to the maintenance needs. For me that only stick to saltwater and the spending mostly on filtrations ... Canisters and Hang on Back filters closed to 500 green bags ..

I used to go to one of this Nursery plants shop and they have lots of birds as pets ... I guess birds also have a high stress level ..

Hello welcome aboard it is not everyday that I see fellow countrymen here in this forum .. Good to see indeed. Pretty sure you have other pets as well .... if not fish for now right.

Is that a low boy .. nicely done ... I am always wanted a low boy tank but the spaces are just not right to station it. Try more live plants in the tank its just more rewarding IMHO.

50% Water change .. this time using the high capacity water pump siphoned all the remaining salt in the tank that's treating for fungus earlier Canister filter maintenance ...cleaning up the hose that's already turned brownish - filter media and sponges still in good condition , just rinse...

WC for secondary tank. Main tank sponge filter squeeze out ...

Plecos are the best algae eater for your tanks and you when you have several of them you don't even have to clean or scrape off those algae from your tank ........ ....

Just bouncing back this question, I know the water quality is indeed the de-facto for fish health. But what other steps to be taken to completely completely avoid fungus issue on fish body ....

it is better sooner than later in putting your fish in Q tank ..... I had a few occasions when I put in late and before I know it .... way too late to find it the hard way ...

Will it be High Tech tank ? If its me .. I will add in floating plants am just a craze for floating plants ...
