Come to think of it not all free advice are good ... even though for some they do have good intentions.

I most certainly suggest leaning towards a bigger size tanks as smaller tanks is hard to control the water quality and you can add in the numbers more comfortably in big size tanks.

Sounds about right ... Normal farming that uses pesticides and what not is way more harmful than water from the fish tank . Am prety sure its safe. Look at the paddy field water .... its muddy and all sorts of fish also leaves there cant imagine it to be too cleaned though ,,,

Well as the saying goes the bigger the better ,, and better be safe than sorry ... so yeah those extra gallons will be beneficial and if you want to compare bigger tanks are even cheaper ...

A bit out of the topic .. I am more into what fish fancies me .. while I am in LFS ... and yeah those feels like centuries ago ... finding best tank mates is really is time consuming .
