You could always have an African Dwarf Frog or possibly 2 though I'd have nothing else in there with them. A Betta would be OK or some fancy shrimp like filter feeding shrimp.

You can try meds, though be careful not to overdose, even by a tiny amount as it can wipe out the filter and send you into a mini cycle while it recolonises (I know this as it happened to me and I lost my Gold Nugget plec). It's probably worth doing a large water change just before dosing...

It sounds like fin rot to me. How frequently do you do water changes and how much do you change at a time? Lots of clean water can help fin rot so I'd do a lot of water changes.

Your lfs may take them, unfortunately you are experiencing the downside of keeping male and female livebearers. Unless you kep the males in one tank and females in another you'll continue to have batches of fry frequently.

It's pretty much any 'torpedo shaped' fish of that size. An adult angel won't think "oops, that's a Cardinal, not a Neon"! If it's the same size and shape it'll be eaten!

Whatever you do,don't put it back in the tank! Any fish that venture near it will be eaten by it, particularly smaller ones. It'll be fine in an outdoor pond as that is their natural habitat, don't worry about it being too cold.
