This is just my suggestion, don't get the bettas, get a couple of honey gouramis instead. You have a good possibility of some really bad problems with a sorority of female bettas.

Are you going to keep your betta fish in your new tank? I am just learning about bettas but from what I have learned some bettas will not tolerate other fish. But it depends on your betta's personality. Fish that have flashy colorful tails and bodies might get in trouble with a betta.

If I remember right there was another thread here about plants in the UK. It was talking something about restrictions on importing aquarium plants are making it harder to get them, but really I don't remember too much about it.

Very nice tank and stand. Not sure if you know but the 20 long has the same footprint as a 29 gallon, with the 29 being about 5 1/4" deeper. So anything that works with a 29 gallon will work with your 20 long. A 20 long is a very nice tank indeed. I am in the process of setting a 20 long right...

Welcome to the forum..... :hi: I too was on a different forum but I had a different reaction. It was a great forum but more like living in downtown New York with all the people coming and going. It was way too busy of a forum for me, so when I found this one I decided I liked it much better.
