Tying is a lot better than the glue. IME the glue tends to fail and the plant just pops off the rock or wood.

My farowella is more robust than my other whiptails. I would recommend them as well. Hillstream loaches are territorial to each other and other species. They are outgoing but will battle each other for territory. Sometimes the stress is too much for the other party.

Well brown slime infested the 12 gallon and I was able to save a turbo snail and my tiger conch but the little rainbows are gone and the other snails as well as the two larger corals too. I am hoping one of the corals will come back, but 99% sure it's a goner as well. They are in my 10 gallon...

Yeah, everyone was healthy the night before. The UV was the only new addition to the tank, so logically we couldn't think of anything else that would have caused multiple fish to die overnight.

With plecos in almost all of my tanks, any MIA fish are assumed fish food. Fish, snails and shrimp are very opportunistic so unless you're able to see the fish die/find the dead fish relatively soon after death you can bet it was disposed of by the tank's inhabitants.
