Please post your water parameters (ammonia, nitrate, nitrite, pH, GH, KH, temperature). Do you have a heater and filter in your tank? Are you using a water conditioner when adding new water? Can you tell us how much you are feeding and what types of foods?

Thanks, essjay! I was looking at the CaribSea brand. I was originally thinking black sand but I read somewhere that it's either not actual sand or it's sand with black coloring. Sigh. Who knew picking out sand would be so hard, LOL!
