You should not keep new fish in the bags for too long. Just enough for the temp acclimation. The bad nitrates and ammonia are building up in the bag so you want to transfer as soon as the temps reach the same in the tank as the bag. Around 10 to 15 minutes should be good.

Thanks, I give props to the many nerite snails. They really do a good job on the glass, deco, and dying plants. I just have to clean the top of the substrate and do water changes really.

Correct, the filter is specifically to treat Chloramine. If you have chlorine then you only need the default filters that come with the RO Buddy system. If you have Chloramine then you use the default filters plus the extra filter to treat chloramine.

Begs the question of if they are in a tank with larger fish that might consume them. Sorry that's all I got I'm not familiar with green terror fish.

RO Buddy, that's is what I use for my RODI saltwater tank. Make sure if you have chloramine treated water that you use the special filter for chloramines. I bought the device and didn't know until I read the instructions it came with so had to wait on the filter.

If dirt is escaping from the bottom you could put some more sand to cap it to keep it down.

You could put some lettuce in there and when they are on the lettuce grab it out then take that to a local pond or river.

I have same sort of issue in my indoor house faucets. I use the python on my outdoor faucet/hose exclusively although I do want to get it working indoors one day because filling tanks with outdoor faucet doesn't allow me to control the temp of the water.

I usually see mine when doing water changes, they hide most of the time.
