How does shoaling behavior work exactly? I added 2 mollies and 1 skirt tetra to the tank and lemon tetras behavior seems to changed a lot. They don’t swim in groups anymore, they go everywhere and some of them follow mollies and skirt tetra.

Stupid questions but how do I run water through activated carbon? Never done it before…. Another question regarding activated carbon: Do carbon sponges (like the one from sponge filter) lost its effectiveness like charcoal do?
