Pros are they are good little cleaners and got some nice colour to them. Cons are they multiply quite quickly (which you might be ok with the puffers picking them off) and if you have a sand substrate they dont aerate it unlike mts do. Most other snails dont tho tbf

Does the ph stay steady once everything is settled?

My Gh is 9.1 and Ph is 7.4 I thought their gh swing was lower from 180 to 450ppm. Didnt realise it was that high

Just Looking at some options atm for a tank im setting up and 1 idea i liked was a frontosa set up. Seriously fish had their ph between 8.0 - 9.0 but i dont want to be fighting with my water chemistry to keep them

Ive heard of substrates and limestone etc working but wasnt sure if it would maintain the ph over a longer period

Getting there nicely. Primer and paint ordered along with a base mat so i just need to decide on if i want to add doors and any more finishings before i paint it. Can get tank on it then 🙂 so many ideas and options to think of for it 😀
