Is there any pill, pellets or chemical that will get rid of the algae on my tank ornaments ? I know taking em out n wash em would do it but then I will have to remove em n mess up the whole tank. I have some siamese algae eaters but I guess they're on strike cause they're not doing a damn thing...

The wife wants to start a 75 gallons tank into a cyclids tank. We were checking out some cyclids at petsmart the other day n we saw some yellow guys hanging around with some other that looks like convicts we didn't see any bullying. Which cyclids can we get that will always get along ?

I've been having 2 serpae tetras with mollies, swordtails n platties for months in my first tank and they're doing great, they grew up quiet a bit n no fighting

I can get many males ? Wouldn't they fight with each other ?

When my 125 gallons tank finally finish cycling should I get more serpae tetras for the tank? I have 2 that will go into that tank along with the mollies, platties, dwarf gourami, swordtails n corys. I've read they're fin snippers that's why I'm asking if I add another 4 to make a little school...

I know. I'm not planning to breed em but u know live bearers do the nasty n get pregnant even if ur not planning on it. I just want to have another male swimming around the tank

I've read that you can't keep 2 swordtail males together in a tank. The tank I'm cycling is 125 gallons. Any chance I can keep 2 swordtail males in my 125 gallons tank without them fightingb?

My angels tank started showing Black dots everywhere. I tried to clean em up with a magnet cleaner with no luck, I tried a scraper but nothing the only thing that worked was using my fingernail scratching it. Anybody knows what it is ? I have 2 pics of them it's not on the plants it's on the glass

Ok I added ammonia nntested the water. Ammonia is now 2.0 ppm Nitrites like usual 2.0 ppm never changed

The thing that confuses me is when you say add 3ppm of ammonia and I don't know how much ammonia is 3 ppm. 1 teaspoon 2, 3 I just don't know how much to add to be 3 ppm

I didn't add ammonia. I only added bacteria from tetras safe something to rush the cycling. I'm tired of waiting to b cycled

Ok I just tested the tank after adding bacteria on Sunday. Ammonia is 0.50 ppm and Nitrites are 2.0 ppm. Nitrites didn't change at all for 2 weeks not even with bacteria added to the tank

Well I added the Tetra safe start n these are the results. PH ........................ 7.6 ppm Ammonia ..............1.0 ppm Nitrites ................. 2.0 ppm Nitrates ................ 40 ppm Honestly I'm gettingvtired of waiting

Ok I half dozed the tank with quick start by Api last nite n the results today were Ammonia 1.0 ppm Nitrites still 2.0 ppm. I dozed the other half just now n will test again tomorrow
