    Fun fact the Pantanal is not a river but a wetlands containing multiple rivers. 80% of the Pantanal is flood planes that get flooded during the rainy season and contains up to 12 different ecosystems.

    What type of fish are you going for I’m guessing tetra? If you wanna go for the Araguaia river some cool available fish would be the penguin tetra (thayeria boehlkei) or the Emeber tetra (Hyphessobrycon amandae)

    All of the fish mentioned on the biotope page apart from the Oto is legally available to be imported into Australia but unless you have the money or know people who could collect them and then import them is another story.

    Is my tank to small for mbuna?

    The tank is 3x2x2 I want to make it a mbuna community tank but I’ve read places that they need 4feet long tanks. It’s 85 gallons and wondering if it would be ok ?
