    SAE?

Welcome to TFF How many SAE are in the tank? This is a shoaling fish, and will exhibit skittish behavior in groups of less than six Not only do they need to be in groups, but they can grow close to 6 inches in length, a four foot tank should be the smallest tank length to house them...

    Geophagus without sand

I see....they may have feeding regiments that don't require sand-sifting, but why alter a fish's natural behavior? Seems odd to me...

    Geophagus without sand

"The most essential item of décor is a soft, sandy substrate so that the fish can browse naturally (see ‘Diet’). Coarser materials such as gravel or small pebbles can inhibit feeding, damage gill filaments and even be ingested with the potential of internal damage or blockages."...

Ammonia not coming down, no nitrite and nitrate!

Welcome to TFF. Agree with the above, forget that chart you posted and follow the cycling link provided. As for the Stress Coat, it "contains the healing power of Aloe Vera", which doesn't "heal" but actually harms fish...replace it with either Seachem Prime, or API Tap Water Conditioner...

    Keeping plants planted

Agree with the above...I've arranged rocks/pebbles around the base of substrate plants until they take root, then remove once the plants are established

    Stocking 29 Gal

Welcome to TFF Otocinclus aren't "bottom feeders"; they feed wherever algae is present, which in an established tank, could be on any surface Established tank are key words for keeping otos, as well...they constantly graze on algae...if they have inadequate amounts of it, they won't live long...

    Neon looking very odd

Have a look at these links, WC's are critical for proper fishkeeping, in the majority of instances...there's a difference between "surviving" and "thriving" http://advancedaquariumconcepts.com/water-changes-and-water-quality-in-aquariums/...

    Neon looking very odd

A pic of the fish in question may help. Why no water changes?

    Im going to sound stupid

How long have the deceased fish been in there? For them to be as decomposed as they sound, I'm guessing a pretty long time...I'd check the ammonia levels in that tank

    Feeding Assassin Snails

All snails are scavengers, they don't need specific foods to survive In an established aquarium, they'll find what they need to survive And, any fish food will do

    DROPSY!!

Dropsy is a condition, not actually a disease in itself: https://www.thesprucepets.com/dropsy-in-aquarium-fish-1381806 There are many causes for the condition, as you see in the link above...Dwarf Gourami Disease is very common, and could be the culprit, as well...

Agreed...I would just add that the paradise fish thrives in cooler water (around 60F mid-range) than the danios would prefer https://www.seriouslyfish.com/species/macropodus-opercularis/
