Oh baby are these South American Tetras little

love it! I have a singular giant rummy nose right now because all his friends died in a tank accident... however, it's grown very big and vibrant, and also quite active. I think he likes the guppies and rasbroas. Planning on getting 8 or 12 more.

    What is this?

if it is cyanobacteria, personally I would pressure hose it off, since too much of it can be harmful to fish i think. also because it can make the tank smell bad if left to grow a lot

Hello all, I have a 15 gal that I would like to turn into a paludarium. it will mostly be for plants only, but in the future some crabs maybe. What could be chomping on my bucephalandra ?

It could also be shock to new environment or change my crypts which are sort of similar melt and lose a few leaves whenever I just do something small like mix the sand or put in a root tab. delicate plants, but kind of hardy when established

    Springtail capturing

good idea. I propose to use a small measuring cup to "water" them into the terrarium. I will use it because mold grows in the terrarium whenever I add new leaves, and these helpful bugs can eat the mold. Thanks for the ideas, I will try all of these and update!

Hello everyone! I have this small box terrarium that has a lot of plants in it, and I would like a nice springtail population in there. It just so happens that in my large fish tank, there's a giant thriving colony of them among the floaters, and I'm wondering how to capture them and release...

Hi! recently I found a skeleton of a cory catfish in the tank, it seemed to have already died for around a few days... nice! I've raised cories almost 3 years now, and they are really goofy fish! because of the loss of guppy fry, I ended up rubber-binding 2 filter sponges to the filter powerhead intake. if I raise the fry with my sponge filter tank, will they be sucked in?
