    Floating plants for 29 gallon

I put it in an area where the floating plants wouldn't block light from my plants in the substrate and not too close to the filter current

It looks like a Damesfly and Damesfly larvae to me. Sorry I don't know much about them. I would try moving them outside.

@Gypsum @Salts155R I saw him chilling out in his cave today but I wanted to make sure it's normal, while I was watching him I watched one of my Albino corys swim into his cave. When he went in the cave the pleco darted at the cory and flared up his fins. He darted at the cory again and the cory...

    Thank you :)

2020 has been a hard year for all of us. To end the year, I thought I should make a thread where we can thank each other and be kind to others :) @Colin_T Thank you for helping me with all the questions I have about fish keeping. I think it's astonishing that someone can know so much about...

    Floating plants for 29 gallon

Thanks! I saw another idea where you can use plastic straws and make a little square. I could attach a suction cup to the side of my tank and tie some fishing line to hold the little square in place. Do you think the plastic straw would be safe for my tank? I don't want it to leech chemicals in...

    Floating plants for 29 gallon

Thanks! I have a lot of surface agitation in my tank from an air stone and filter. I've seen things online that kind of float on top of the water and create a little enclosed space to put floating plants so they stay contained. I think they're called feeding rings. Is there an easy was to make...

    Floating plants for 29 gallon

Thanks! What should I do with them? I feel bad throwing them out but I don't want them to rot. Should I just leave them and see how they do?

    Floating plants for 29 gallon

Oh my gosh they are gourgeous! I wish I lived closer. I would totally buy some. The ones on EBay are expensive. I saw one ad that cost $25 plus $8 in shipping for 6 individual Red root floaters

I know it's not a big deal but it made me really happy to see the pleco come out from under the driftwood today. I had the tank light turned off and a sat in front of my tank for about 15 minutes and the pleco came out from hiding and was moving around the tank but staying mostly near the...
