And a lot of people will see natural behaviour, courtship, mating etc... as agression. How many threads have been on here about "agressive" fish which appeared to show completely normal behaviour. Even Corys of certain species often are said to be agressive (when mating) though they are mellow...

Agree on that. I really don't understand why the LFS always is blamed when things go wrong. On the other hand people complain on this forum when an employee doesn't want to sell a fish for some one reason (then the keeper is King). Yeah right.

Frequent waterchanges and use of Melafix is often advised for Red Blotch (not 100% sure it is that but it won't harm them.). Though Melafix doesn't do much strangely Corys seem to benefit from it adapting to new waterconditions.
