My first thoughts are the difference in habititats and requirements of both fish. Mixing South American and African fish often isn't the best option. But that said the tank could be more come close to the requirements for the upside down catfish than for the plec ! This is more a pleco tank to me.

Agree with this. Can think of two things : They are oje of the oldest / longlast tankbred species in our hobby. So maybe inbreeding is an issue. Secondly they are coldwater Corys, which are often kept too wam longterm (good temp for other fish). Noticed my issues often occured after heatwaves...

Not want to be rude or offensive but the pics show a struggling fish to me. This is more a balance / neurological issue to me than swimbladder, which isn't caused by overeating or parasites (the latter maybe as secundairy issue).

Kuhlis definitely. You've to drain any tank to get those. If you're lucky it is a 10G. Otherwise you're having a little bit less of luck hahahaha

Serious. When they'll start breeding you'll have loads of fry. It isn't a bad idea to ask the LFS of they'll take them.

Several bacterial issues can (tb for instance). As said if it is NTD you're hole stock will be affected.

If this parasite is in your tank the others wouldn't look healthy and you would have to clean out the tank and desinfect it. Other causes are by far more plausible than neon tetra disease.
