Yes I have, even when we were feeding them the dry stuff I did see it eating. I always sit and watch them for a bit after I’ve fed them to make sure they’re all eating ok.

I’m sure all the fish have been healthy. I check on them everyday and I know the signs of them not being well or near death..

Update: After another week we had another molly go missing on Wednesday. Still no bodies found. Then today I get home from work and had my fears confirmed, I actually caught the rope fish in the act with another rainbow. We’ve been feeding them live/fresh foods rather than dry stuff but...

@Boundava Thanks for sharing! Your tanks are huge! I hope to upgrade to that sort of size eventually. I don’t know if they sell those brands of food here in the UK but it certainly gives some food for thought 😉 will have to google it I think.

Thanks for all of your replies I will take them on board. @Ichthys the tank is normally full of decor/plants lots of hiding places, I took this pic during a tank clean/water change where I had briefly removed everything. I don’t think it’s stressed, or hasn’t shown signs of being so.
