I know, Coccinas are incredible.... A hillstream tank you said, right? Hope you have the best of luck with it....! Peat, platanus leaves, magnolia leaves, alder cones, and sometimes Kurrajong pods. I collect all of them but peat. I'm really hoping they are...:)

Welll I agree with everything else you said, but the 1/10 chances of keeping them alive seems a bit untrue. I get they're not completely beginner fish, but they're quite hardy. Breeding them is another story...

I think that's how breeding works for Betta Splendens. In the Coccina Complex, you don't need to remove the parents, they can grow alongside their parents. And the agression is not severe, at least in my limited experience with them.

I have no idea lol! If I were to go with the Coccina complex, I'd go for either Miniopina or sp Jade. But I'm not sure if I'll go with Coccinas again... Dimidiatas are soooo tempting! And so are Channoides... and Falx!

Well tbh I can move my Coccinas from the 20 to the 6 so that would leave me with an empty 20... I see some nice options there;) I knowwwwwww!!!!!
