I put the mm in the filter let that run for 24hrs then introduced a fish at a time. This method has worked successful twice for me. The fist time I added ammonia and tested, then added again and tested and repeated and failed. Put in just a few smaller fishes. Good lkuck

What you should have done is put a bit of mature media into your new filter. If your filter is killing 5ppm of ammonia in about 10 hours you should be nearly there however your nitrites need to be crunched down too!

I agree you should leave them all to be together.... I have my crs mixed with sakuras. I would sayblots of open space for rooming otherwise risk death....

I let mine out after about a week. As long as they are biiger then a mouth then should nbe fine.
