Ive got this lovely looking peppered cory but im not sure if it is a male or female? It seems to follow my albino cory everywhere and sometimes sits on top of the albino one.......i think it might be male and if it is i would like to get some females for him

my fry go the same with the half black, when they are only about a week old they start to go black and then their tails turn orange and their body stays black. i would love to get some that are just black

Yes that could be a reason why. But im not sure, my lot seem to grow at different rates at each batch. So are faster than others. My females tend to grow huge as well......

It's a Malaysian trumpet snail. Where there is one, there is more lol

They always grow really fast, I think it's because I keep up with the water changes and always put in extra changes. Also I keep the water quite warm, normally between 26 and 28•c. I've never had any trouble with them growing fast. I feed them prima food as well, full of proteins. I think that helps

These are the little beauties at the moment, almost 4 weeks on: I was studying my fry tank and I have seen two more that are starting to get this colour tail and the start of the black spots on their side. I've put them in my main tank as they are big enough now. Fingers crossed even more...

I used to watch my females and know when they were about to drop their fry within 12 hours therefore I would move them to my baby growing up tank (60l) and once they had finished giving birth I would transfer them back to the main tank. But now I just leave them in the main tank to give birth...

It took a very long time to get them all out. But to start with I let the water empty out of the canister through my little net therefore any babies that came out that way were caught in the net. Then once the majority of the water and come out I dipped the net into a tub and loads of babies...

Thanks for the help guys. I managed to get most of the babies out of the filter and have connected it all together and put a some tights on the intake pipe for now. I've ordered a eheim prefilter so that will do the job properly to stop anymore getting sucked up

yes it does, i have two like it, they are both stll young (about 3 months old) so there colours are still changing. ive got two endlers in my tank with my other guppies so they are all crossing over
