Mr Spoon, You get deshelled peas in a pet store or a grocery store? Is that just a raw pea? What other vegetables can I feed the tinfoils? I would like to vary their diet and see what they like but I'm fearful I will feed them something that may harm them.

Thanks! The tinfoils seem to be enjoying it. They have discovered lots of new foods they weren't getting in the pet store. Pond snails, duck weed, etc. I'm just hoping these are the large version of tinfoil barb. They certainly eat enough to fill out a 15 inch frame.

I recently purchased 3 fish that the pet store listed as "tin foil barbs". This is the only photo I have of them, sorry it is not better. But can someone advise me on whether I have the Barbonymus altus or the Schwanenfeldii? Thanks!
