getting a 125gl tank for saltwater. want to know about protein skimmers. what do they do and how to use them. in simple terms please :*) also how big do i need for a 125gl.

sounds like your doing a great job. :thumbs: my 55gl tank has been up for a little over a year and unfourtently i was not so lucky. everything was great untill i bought a house and had to move my tank. i lost 3 durnig the move. :( but the rest did great untill one day the transformer blew and...

same thing happoned to me with my freswater puffer last year. i was cleaning my husbend's tank and i went into the bathroom to clean out the intake and when i returned couldnt find one of my puffer's, untill i noticed the filter had stoped. had to take off the hole intake and there he was :-(...

puffers have the coolest eyes i have ever seen! they are like dogs they are so sweet. my fire fish are the ones that begg for food. they follow me everytime i walk by the tank. :fish: :fish: << this is mutt and jeff. lol. i'll try to take more pic of puffy if he will hold still long enough.

as requested :D puffy.........my blue spotted puffer. he is hard to photograph he swims so fast. also i think he is in love with my tang :wub: , he follows her everywhere. they are never apart.
