Illescas and goslinei had their drops! I have 8 goslinei total fry and should be a fair number of illescas. I'll have the total soon. I'll get some videos up soon

new update:   count of melanosoma so far is 48 fry   I have lost a few of the tamazulae fry. I have 3-4 fry alive   captivus "Illescas" is due any day   and new addition! So far 3 goslinei fry. I have another female ready to drop any day as well!    I am really working on getting maculata going...

Hi Gary, I am very excited about getting fry. So far, my count on melanosoma is up to 40 fry. Got a 25 fry drop today.With still at least 2 more females left to drop. I am not sure what's up with the videos. They worked when I clicked them. My captivus "illescas" has a pregnant female. Thanks...

One of my female melanosoma had 6 fry. I will load a video of them in a little bit.

Thank you Gary! Very nice pair!   When I find some time I will share some pics of the A.maculata. Right now I am rearranging aquariums to allow me with more available space without taking up too much room and setting up more tanks. I want to setup more tanks but can't right now.

Well a bit has changed in just 2 days. I was able to find a small group of allotoca maculata. So, I went for them. I gave a friend of mine the "moctezuma" to keep until I get some room open.

They arrived on Wednesday! 2 pairs of goslinei and 3 pairs of tamazulae. I will post a video of them as soon as I can. Been very busy.

I love Goodeids and all wild type livebearers (mostly xiphophorus).

Sorry for the delay in reply. Was out of town. I'm from the USA...i wish I lived in the UK. I'm getting them from a breeder in the ALA.

I will be getting some Allotoca goslinei and allodontichthys tamazulae at the end of this month. Would love to learn more on how to care for these species if anyone would be interested in sharing their experience with them. Thank you!

A new recent update:   My X.clemenciae just had a decent size drop and one of my female "Illescas" looks gravid. I hope I get some fry from the "Illescas". 

Thanks looking-glass! Very nice endlers. I am sorry I don't know what variety type you have. I have kept some n class endlers in the past. They are easy to breed. Very fun little fish. Keep us updated.

Looking-glass: Yeah all of my fish came from online through private individuals. There are a few sources online that sell them but the best way to aquire them is like what ricefish pointed out. BLA would be your best bet to find pure fish with location info and you will be able to meet new...

I think Goodeids are naturally found in neutral ph. 7.0-7.5. Goodeids don't seem to be picky on high ph and hard water. I think any specie of Goodeid would thrive. Two members on this forum : Fish48 and Ricefish both have a huge list of Goodeids and a lot of experience keeping them. They would...
