Well I started treating my dojo and plec with Malachite Green yesterday. Supposed to clear ick in 2 days but it doesn't say anything about small scaled or scaless fish. So far the ick is still there. Guess I'll wait a few days and see what happens.

The medication was dosed once a day and I finished yesterday. I read the info on that link regarding small scaled fish. What approach should be taken when treating small scaled fish if medications do not work?

It's been almost 2 weeks now and I can't cure my Pleco or my DoJo. I've used ick medication for a week now I have them quarantined in a 10 gallon tank and I'm using a salt treatment now. Any suggestions?

Two of my tanks currently have an ick problem which I'm treating with Aquari-Sol. My 30 gallon tank has a plant in it and my question is will the ick medication hurt or kill the plant? The medication contains zycosin and soluble copper salts.

Thanks for the info. My Do-Jo is a nutcase. Every once and a while you can hear him freaking out from rooms away knocking stuff around and stirring up the gravel. It doesn't like anything invading it's territory and usually hides all the time only coming out to eat once a day.

Anybody know anything about Do-Jos? I bought one about 6 months ago but can't find any info about it. It seems to be doing very well but I would like info about it.
