I don't have a heater. I would move him to the bigger tank but it has my platties and babies in there and that has the filter and heater. I will take a pic from my phone once I get home and give you the results too

I am using water that we have coming from the filter. He has the air stone in his tank but no filter in there unless it's better for him?

this is day 3 with my new betta "red". i change his water today and he seem to move a bit more than yesterday but is still back to just staying in one spot. i was not sure if it was due to the filter water that i used so i put in a water conditioner as well....tomorrow is another update

Could it also has to do with the water? I use filter water.

is it normal for my red wag to follow my 2 sunburst platties all the time? If its not one he is following then its the other one.

Thank you! I was not sure at first i thought my algae eater was the one but my mom was telling me no that it was my platy.

So today i found baby frys swimming and i put them in the breeding net. I think one of my sunburst platy given birth and well i am not sure cuz some of the fry are gray. I will have to see what they are soon. And my other platy is big but not sure if she is pregnant when i bought her. :o :fish:

I have platties and before it both platties and mollies and one of them had ice and I didn't know but now I am watching out and but I was told 7.6 was too high for both platties and mollies

I an using the powder cuz my ph has been really high and I been changing the water but it never went down. Yes I am using the API proper ph 7.0. Oh ok.

It's like a white cloudiness. I had only my one baby fish but I recently put in this powder for the ph balance and then bought new fishes and still did my water changes. I did had this moss ball in there but I had put it with my Betta and no changes to the feeding and no other live plants in there.

so i got a bigger tank for my betta and its a 3 gallon tank. i had gone to the local pet store and always they tell me that i can not put any other fish with my betta. but he is soooo lonely...i heard some ppl say they do put other fishes with the bettas and i believe i have ask this before but...

oh ok cuz i have a 26 gal tank and i was only using that for tropical fish like mollies and platys. i was afraid to put him in there. but thanks i will look into that!! :)

ok. because he looks so sad sometimes and i see him looking at the other tank. but what kind of fishes are good tankmates for bettas? He is my first betta and the first fish i had before the platy and mollies.
