I decided to get a pair of apistogramma agassizii

I have a 85 litre fluval fresh 60x35x45cm ph 7 and would like some stocking ideas so far I've decided on 15 neons and a honey gourami I want something for the bottom of the tank but not sure what yet any ideas ?

I didn't get anyn fish today because I added one last ammonia dose last night just to make sure so if I do my water change tomorrow the tank will be fine without ammonia until Monday ?

Hi my ammonia and nitrite are both dropping to 0 within 24 hours so I thought I was cycled but I've read on a few other sites that it has to process within 12. Am I cycled now or do I have to wait until there both 0 within 12 hours

I've just finished my fishless cycle and should be getting fish tomorrow but do I need to add ammonia tonight to keep the bacteria alive until tomorrow or will it be ok without?

They've been together for quite a while now and I've never seen either of them bother each other :) the shark sometimes chases the other fish if they get to close but doesn't bother the firemouths ever

Hi I have a 200 litre tank with 11 pentazona barbs, 11 head and tail light tetra, rainbow shark, 2 indian gourami and 2 firemouths am i overstocked or is there room for something else? If there is any thoughts on what might work well?

thanks that's good to know I can add more just wanted to check as the length of the tank is 100 cm not quite 4 foot and I know most people say 4 foot is better

are red zebras and blue zebras mbuna? and could you have a look at my other post see if they are blue zebra ?

im not really looking at breeding so dont really have to worry about that is the one with red eyes a red zebra as well?

would it be ok to just buy 5or 6 fish to start with then get more from there or do you have to overstock right from the beginning?

I have decided i want to get malawi cichlids and was wondering how many to get for a 200 litre tank and also what kind to get?

I can't get my nitrate below 20 ppm because the water from the tap has a higher nitrate level than that so what could i do to reduce the nitrate?

yeah it is a little bit skinny not to bad just not growing as quick as my other ram not sure what it is then its definitely not holes .

it looks more like a scrape to me my other bolivian ram that is quite a bit bigger has a tiny patch of it too and so does my firemouth it doesnt look like a pit from what i can tell.
