well it really depends on what type of fish you want but for starters id get some real plants and about a 30 watt bulb and cover gravel a water test kit filter heater (depends on type of fish) a background (i dont have one because i have a betta but my bro has one cause he has a large community...

the frog just keeps to itself in the corner and nothings bugged it yet... if it is getting nipped at i'll move it to my bros 45 gallon tank or we have a 6 gallon hospitol tank the pics dont due the betta's blue justice... oh well and the 3rd pic is my setup... no background since i dont want...

so recently i got a new 20 us gallon tank and i set it it... so today i went out to get some fish, i got a dwarf frog, 3 silvertip tetras and a beautiful VT betta he absolutly loves having a big tank versus his little half gallon cup, he couldnt be happier ill post pics in a bit

maybe in the bathroom... or in the living/family room... maybe somewhere that gets high traffic so you see your betta a lot and it gets some attention maybe in an office if u spend some time there or really anywhere where u have enough counterspace where the betta atleast gets some attention

they dont last much more then 5 years unless there really healthy and the average lifespan is like 2-5 years

its december 1st and i just did some calculating and the tank is closer to 6gallons

its actually in kirkland washington but its a pretty large pet store

its gonna be in totem lake at Denny's Pet world and yes there will be beta's

the convention is gonna be in western washington at a large pet store and i dont really undertsnad ur second question froggy

in about a week and a half i'll be going to a fish convention here in washington and i plan on buying my first beta, ive had experience caring for fish in both a 40(ish) gallon tank and an 6(ish) gallon tank. i plan on using the 8ish gallon tank for the beta but i need some help does anyone...
