Yup, airstone is in there. It's been 3 weeks though with no change in ammonia... I am using Nutrafin Aquaplus Conditioner. I've been using it for years in my other aquariums.

My tank is 25G has about 3 plants of hygrophila polysperma and 2 plants of crypts. It's very minimally planted for now.
