Not sure what the shrimps I have in my tank are. Are they Amano Shrimps? Or maybe Glass Shrimp?

Thanks all! I'm now pretty confident that it's a Cherax Quadricarinatus. It looked like it was about to go for one of the fish earlier on. It sort of arched it's rear and and then lunged towards one of them but the fish swam off. :hyper: Don't know what the hell they were thinking putting it...

Yes that is in true colour. It's body is about 4" long and he bought it from a store. Not sure on it's age. Will try and get a better photo of it, but it's an elusive little beggar!! :drool:

I'll get a pic tomorrow hopefully as the tank is still at my parents house. There's quite an assortment of fish in the tank. Like I say, I didn't put them in there. My mis-informed brother did. :rolleyes:

Hi all, just taken an interest in tropical fish after receiving my brothers neglected aquarium. There's some kind of lobster or crayfish in it and I'm trying to find out what it is. It isn't blue like the Hammers Cobalt Lobster. Any suggestions of other types of lobster/crayfish it might be?
