Just a thought...but I read somewhere that someone had a sinmilar problem and discovered their cat had been enjoying their tank while they were away. Do you have any other pets in your home that might have access to your tank? A tank cover would help with that as well.

Question....should I add some sort of medicine to the tank to aid in healing? Or just stick with making sure the water is tip top shape?

For the most part there are just chunks missing. I do have 1 fry about 2 months old whose tail is almost completely gone. Just a few spikes. Guess we'll have to see hoe he does. He still swims pretty well.
