Male bettas need to be kept away from other bettas, not necessarily away from other fish. Suitable tank mates for bettas include platies, swordtails, cory cats, neon tetras, cardinal tetras, white cloud mountain minnows, zebra danios, cherry barbs, rasboras, angelfish. You just have to add them...

Its a 2Gal, not got a heater as i havent found a small 1 yet, got him yesterday, feeding him flakes, the temp is fine etc, he is now swiming round tank maybe its cuz hes new?. Could of ben sleeping yeah, Better to ask than leave it and he get sick i suppose.

In the lfs my betta was in a tank with loads off neon fish just looked at his fins now and his tail looks like its been bitten not badly but i wanna no wht i should do to get them bk 2 normal again. Btw hes now swiming round!.
