hi i got a piece of bogwood at xmas soaked it for 4 weeks boiled it in a large pan for hours and hours soaked it some more and it still makes the water brown,i swear its been 3 months now and the water is still as brown as the day i got it,,,so no more bogwood for me -_-

well my funniest has got to be about a year ago,i live in a flat(apartment)and i had this idea to syphon my tank out of the window and water my plants with all the water,so here i am with a 50 m hose and i said to my flat mate you put the hose in the tank and ill go down stairs get the other end...

why dont you just turn the tank around so the mark is at the back and then put a back ground on the back on the outside then once its full you wont see the mark as much :P
