Thanks for the replies everyone. I'll probably try to start out with just one frog, to make sure that the betta won't have trouble with them, then add more. Of course, this is still kind of far away from actually being done(I need gravel and a filter and a lid still). I don't have money...

How many African dwarf frogs can be safely kept in a 10 gallon tank with a betta? I was hoping that several would be fine, since I've watched them at the pet stores and they are funny to see in groups (the way they all cram together in one corner or in a hiding spot is funny).

Does anyone here know of any betta breeders in the Kansas City area? I live in St. Joseph, MO, which is close to KC. I would like to have some nice bettas eventually but I surely can't afford to have them shipped from Indonesia or someplace like that.
