Hi i have a tank dimensions are - 55CM X 44Cm X 28CM on the Aquarium Calculator it adds up to 68 Litres. i was just wondering which fish i could have in the tank. i want some Tiger Barbs and some Neon Tetra's is the possible? Also whhich other fish would i be able to put in the tank? Thanks

put the measurements into the calculator on here and it says 65 litres

in actual fact it says my tank is 68 litres

so if azzaknight is correct by saying my tank is more than 25 litre how many more fish would i be able to have in it?

ok then, can anyone point me in the right direction for a ammonia testing kit, or a testing kit to record all factors, ammonia, nitrate and PH, thanks

im new to this, 5ppm of ammonia? and how does ammonia get reduced, through plants and the filter. how is this measured, thanks

ok thanks thats very useful to know, its just in the description from where i bought it, it says 25 litre tank and the dimensions 55cm x 44 x 28 i have it says around 3-4 weeks, but surely if the conditions are right the fish can go in the tank right?

so how long do you think it will tank me to cycle my tank before i can start putting fish in. is it really all i need to do is get no ammonia, no nitrate and the PH of 7ish

so 25-27 should be ok for cherry shrimp, micro rasbora and betta

so for tropical fish the temperature has to be around 25-27C yes

ok, can i get some info from you. like the following: What does the temperature of the water be. Nitrate Levels Ammonia Levels And any other factors to consider?

right, so im limited really, are there liek any other fish i could have... in my local pet shop i see all these tropical fish and they are tiny like 1cm in length, they are like neon in colour.

have lights in my tank already, what other fish can i have in my tank instead of cories and also why a male betta? any particular reason, thanks

yh thats why i said when the fish tank is ready...ill prob get some cherry shrimp, corries and betta. how many roughly would i be able to have of those.

So roughly how long do you have to cycle the tank for before putting tropical fish into the tank

hi so basically in bullet points what do i need to do!? buy a testing kit, tap conditioner, plants etc. i have had the fish in there for a few months now and they both seem fine, swimming around like normal

so puttin live plants in the tank will take the nitrates out, also you said ill need to buy some tap conditioner...any ideas on which plants i should get...what tap conditioner, thanks

hi it is a 25 litre tank, no i didnt cycle the tank, i have had the fish for about 2-3 months now and everytime i clean the tank i empty it out and just put new water in with a little bit of the old water that i took the fish out from
