the shell makes me think its some sort of stomatella snail i got one as a hitchhiker and its like a year old, still only 1/2 inch big =[ EDIT: does your crab look like its a zebra crab, but apparently they are urchin crabs, also some pictures looks very spikey

what about the dwarf species? are they small enough?

is a coral beauty ok for a reef? i thought they nip corals and i suppose the tang will be ok if your willing to rehome it when it gets larger, i would just save the trouble of having to chase it around your tank and just get a reef-safe wrasse

mine is the opposite, it used to open very large but for the past few weeks its been "sulking" and nothing has changed =[ every once in a while it will open up then close in a hour :-(

its not really a matter for how many of fish, it depends more on how large the adult size of the fishes and what type of fish (for compatability) i agree with the tang probably outgrowing (i've read that tangs in general need a lot of growing space AND swimming space since they are not...

so i have some new plant growning, and its growing fast, it looks like maiden's hair (im almost 100% it is) and went from not even being seen on a piece of live rock to about 2 inch strands in a week, ill try to get a good picture but you cant really tell what it is (it looks like a green blob)...

you kinda have to choose if you want corals or big fishes, because most reef fish are small, except tangs and maybe wrasses can be considered big, but tangs are nice
